Chef Bio

Ted Grieb :: EXECUTIVE CHEF

Ted Grieb is a professionally trained chef from the Philadelphia area. Grieb held notable chef positions in some of the most exotic locations in the world before joining Lincoln Restaurant Group, owner of Dakota's Restaurant, in 2000.

After Dakotas was shut down due to a water main break, Grieb took a brief hiatus to open Houston Street in Downtown Dallas. He then returned to Dakotas with great authority and passion to prepare a menu for the new steakhouse concept. In October of 2003, Grieb reopened Dakota's and introduced his flawlessly revamped menu to the much anticipated public. Since the re-opening, the public's and critics' overwhelmingly positive response has proven Dakota's and Chef Grieb to be a valuable mainstay in Dallas.

Executive Chef Ted Grieb's exquisite talent has been recognized by critics, as he recently received his 4 ½ stars for the newly developed Dakotas Steakhouse. He has mastered his craft and proves to be one of the best chefs in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
